Explosions in Bangkok injure 28 people

A total of 28 people were injured in a bomb blast on Sunday afternoon at Victory Monument, one of the main protests of anti-government in the Thai capital Bangkok.

Metropolitan Emergency Medical Services Center Erawan, Bangkok, said the injured, including a female reporter.

The incident was the second bomb attacks against anti-government protesters since the operation launched to paralyze Bangkok on Monday.

The rally was an attempt to overthrow Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra while before the mid-term elections Feb. 2.

Earlier, on Friday morning, causing a bomb blast killed one person and injured 39.
