Coming a month otherwise missing , Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 search continued on Sunday after an electronic signal - detection rate found Chinese ships , and there are possibly associated with the jet allegedly buried in the southern Indian Ocean .
A total of 10 military aircraft , two civilian jets and 13 ships will search for traces of cloudy days MH370 flight from an altitude of 2,500 feet above sea level , and crystal clear visibility up to 10 kilometers , according to the Agency for the Joint Coordination Center ( JACC ) in Perth , Australia , Sunday .
Search area , according to the JACC , approximately 216,000 square kilometers in area of 2,000 kilometers northwest of Perth , about 300 kilometers or more away from the west coast city of the region searched earlier in the day .
Chinese patrol ship Haixun 01 on Saturday night ( 5/4 ) reported that the use of the black box detector detects the beat of electronic signals in the Indian Ocean that is allegedly associated with the MH370 .
However , " could not be verified at this point in time soon , " according to a press release JACC .
Haixun 01 reported , detected beat frequency 37.5kHz signal pulses per second in the southern waters of the Indian Ocean .
Detector used Haixun 01 black box that takes the signal at about 25 degrees south latitude and 101 degrees east longitude. The black box is a recorder all activities on board , including the MH370 .
