 Voters Young longing Clean Government

For some residents of Indonesia, ahead of the general election campaign ( election ) is an opportunity to have fun , get a free T-shirt , too little money because already present .

For others , especially the younger generation of voters , not a free T-shirt or the money expected . They are hungry for real action and vision of the candidate will change the future of Indonesia .

Nearly 14 million new voters are expected to vote on Wednesday . Account for about 8 % of the 186 million citizens of Indonesia ( WNI ) is eligible to vote . Their voices will determine who sits on a 560-seat House of Representatives ( DPR ) , as well as the Regional Representative Council , the House of Representatives (DPRD ) Provincial and City Council / District .

Vicky ardiansyah , High School student who had just turned 17 years old , including a group that wants a change . He said they would choose , in the hope of Indonesian politician quality would improve.


" I will choose , because they want Indonesia to be a great country , " said Vicky in the recent campaign in Sukoharjo , Central Java .

Both Vicky and Setiawan hope this election year to give birth to a leader who is able to fight corruption and restore the economy . They want a new leader able to complete the corruption scandal , stabilize food prices , as well as create new jobs .

Vicky itself expects Indonesia "free of corruption . " He longed for a leader who is able to improve the quality of national education . " I think Jokowi can make it happen , " said Vicky .

Chairman of the PDI-P's Megawati Sukarnoputri also pinned their hopes on Jokowi . He chose to give a mandate to the Jokowi forward as a candidate for President , rather than nominate himself. Megawati as observers step maneuver to garner support for the PDI - P , which lost the election five years ago .
