Although there are an increasing number of people are going home, Akbar noted, the possibility of a decrease in passengers using inter-city inter-province bus (AKAP).
"Down about 7 percent compared to last year. Trends 2 to 3 years down continues," said Akbar.
Akbar also predicts there will be an increase in both the use of passenger transport by land, sea or air. "Predicted public transport increased by nine, rail increased by 7 per cent, 24 per cent of sea and air as well as 14 percent of private vehicles increased 17 percent coming out of Jakarta," he said.
