Indonesia: Israeli Atrocities against Palestinians in Gaza must be stopped

Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa said Israel must halt attacks on Gaza and add Indonesia has been communicating with partner countries to ask the United Nations called for a halt to Israeli military action in Gaza.

"It is time for Israel to be really pressed to stop their inhuman acts," said Marty said Indonesia and condemned the attack.

"We have communicated with our representative at the United Nations in New York in order to work closely with Palestinian representatives, working together with representatives countries of the Organization of the Islamic Conference and the Non-Aligned Movement to encourage the United Nations called for a halt to Israeli military action in Gaza," he added.

However, he admitted to the Palestinian diplomatic effort is not easy.
The government has also asked all Indonesian citizens residing in the territory of Gaza to report to RI Representatives around the country.
