Moscow Metro train crash, 19 dead

Metro accident in Moscow, Russia, on Tuesday (15/7), swallowing at least 19 people killed, and dozens injured, according to the Russian Ministry of Emergency mentioned.
Itar-Tass news agency citing health affairs official said, 50 people suffered serious injuries.

The accident occurred in the early morning rush hour, when the commuter train braked between Boulevard Slaviansky the Park Pobedy (Victory Square), in the west of the capital Moscow, and led to train derailment.

Most of the injured were transported by stretcher through the tunnel, while the seriously injured were flown to hospital by helicopter.

The cause of one of the worst metro accident was reported electrical problems.
"The train slows down suddenly, the lights went out, and came up sparks and smoke. We were trapped inside," one passenger tells the story in a Russian TV.

Another passenger told Reuters news agency, "We are trapped and could only escape thanks to the miracle of course. I thought was, was over. Lot of people injured, especially those in front of the carriage as the train colliding with one another."
A number of bodies removed from car bida were destroyed, but some still are under the ground, an officer said.

More than 110 people were evacuated
Loaded commuter train passengers in an accident while moving from northwest towards downtown Moscow.

According to the BBC correspondent in Moscow, Artyom Liss, call, the tunnel where the accident occurred, was built about 10 years ago.

Many critics call, authorities are focusing on expanding the metro network, but not overly concerned with the maintenance.

The square Pobedy is the deepest metro station in Moscow, with a depth of 84 meters, resulting in the rescue operation so very heavy.

No strangers who become injured, call the Interfax news agency.
Radicals attack the rail network and public transport Russia in the past, killing dozens of people. However, the Ministry of Emergency call, there is no suspicion that the accident was a result of terrorist attacks.
