Barca players support Martino to death

Barcelona's players fully support manager Gerardo Martino, said captain Carles Puyol.

Martino condemned following the defeat of the "weak team" Granada on Saturday (12/04) which reduces the chances for Barcelona to win La Liga of Spain.

Bad results recorded after Barcelona eliminated Atletico Madrid in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Barca's asserted need not "there is a revolution" to change managers in Barcelona.
"The important thing is there are methods that can be applied, not just based on the success achieved one or two trophies," explained Puyol.

"The team still want to be successful, still want to win, and still want to record history," he said.

Martino was elevated in the Middle Click last year to replace Tito Vilanova, who withdrew because of a wish to focus my efforts to recover from cancer.

Developments so far indicate, Barcelona seems difficult to retain the La Liga title.

Barcelona are in the top three, below Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid, while the competition leaving only five games.

But Martino still won his first goals for Barcelona in the Kings Cup final to face Real, Wednesday.BBC
