U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee decided to publish its report Central Intelligence Agency interrogation techniques ( CIA ) controversial .
The Senate Intelligence Committee has decided to announce the main parts of the report that the long-awaited and highly critical interrogation techniques related to the Central Intelligence Agency - CIA in the war on terror .
The Committee Chairman Dianne Feinstein who spoke on Thursday ( 3/4 ) said the report " shows the brutality " of the interrogation practices were first revealed to the general public during the presidency of George W. Bush .
The executive summary as thick as 480 newly declassified pages it also concluded that the CIA repeatedly misled officials about the severity of interrogation techniques that " enhanced , " including the technique of " waterboarding " and sleep restriction .
In addition , the report - which is assembled entirely by the Democratic faction - concluded that such practices only a few that produce valuable intelligence from terrorism suspects after the 11 September 2001 terror attacks .
The results of the voting committee , 11 versus 3 - where a panel of three Republicans opposed factions - came as the Senate committee and the CIA still deadlocked in a bitter feud related to the report .
