Government of Rakhine State, Myanmar to implement two-child policy for the Rohingya families.
The policy does not apply to citizens of the Buddhist practice comes amid allegations of ethnic cleansing after the sectarian violence that killed dozens of people.
Local officials on Saturday (25/5/20130, said the new policy will take effect in two areas located on the border of Bangladesh and has the highest population of Muslims in Rakhine.

This policy is expected to trigger a sharp criticism and further prove that the Myanmar Muslims discriminate against a minority population.
China has a one child policy, but was not associated with a particular ethnicity or religion. India never practiced porgram male sterilization in the 1970s. However, protests led the government to stop the project.
Rakhine government spokesman, Win Myaing, said the program was intended to restrain the rate of growth of the Muslim community, which by the fact-finding commission formed by the government is considered as one of the causes of sectarian violence break.
This policy encouraged since a week ago after the commission recommends family planning to curb the growth of the Muslim population.
"The growth of the Rohingya population 10 times larger than the Rakhine Buddhists. Population overload is one of the sources of tension," said Win Myaing.
Myaing added, the government has not decided how the new rules also prohibit polygamy-which-will be applied. This policy does not apply in other parts of the Muslim population of Rakhine with very little.
Myanmar government did not include in the list of 135 ethnic Rohingyas are recognized. Government considers Rohingyas are illegal immigrants from Bangladesh and refused to recognize them as citizens.
However, the Bangladeshi government said the men would have lived in Myanmar for centuries and Myanmar should recognize them as citizens.
