OUTLOOK 2015: It estimates Movement Against US Dollar 31 Other Currencies

PREDIKSI 2015: Ini Perkiraan Pergerakan Dolar AS Terhadap 31 Mata Uang Lain

Bisnis.com, NEW YORK-- Dua hari menjelang penutupan pasar mata uang 2014, dolar AS hampir dipastikan mengulang sejarah dengan menguat terhadap 31 mata uang yang paling banyak digunakan di dunia.

Selain itu, pada tahun depan greenback diprediksi masih melanjutkan laju penguatan.

Ekonom menyebutkan setidaknya ada 3 faktor kunci yang mendongkrak greenback menebas 31 mata uang tersebut. Ketiganya yaitu resesi Jepang dan Eropa, menguatnya perekonomian domestik dan percepatan ekspektasi suku bunga acuan oleh the Federal Reserve.

Terakhir kali dolar menemukan momentum penguatan terhadap lebih dari 30 mata uang lain adalah ketika Tembok Berlin runtuh pada 1989. "Kita tengah menjalani satu fase pergeseran besar di AS, khususnya mengenai rencana penaikan suku bunga. Akibatnya, tidak ada yang sanggup melawan dolar," ujar Ekonom Amherst Pierpont Securities LLC, Senin (29/12/2014).

Bloomberg Dollar Spot Index mencatat mata uang Paman Sam rata-rata melesat 11% terhadap 10 mata uang utama lainnya sekaligus memecahkan rekor pencapaian tertinggi sejak pertama kali indeks tersebut digunakan, 2004. Bahkan, rubel harus tergiling sampai 39%.

Secara rinci, sepanjang 2014 yen Jepang terdepresiasi 14% dan euro tergerus 13%. Sementara euro sendiri berhasil menguat atas yen sebesar 1,3%, peso Argentina terperosok 24%, diikuti krone Norwegia sebesar 19%.

Dalam indeks yang sama, tercatat hanya dolar Hong Kong yang mampu melampaui kinerja greenback. Hong Kong mampu menggerus Paman Sam sebanyak 1,9% pada tahun ini.

Konsensus ekonom dan analis yang dihimpun Bloomberg menyebutkan greenback masih akan melanjutkan penguatan terhadap mayoritas mata uang dunia sepanjang 2015.

Peso Argentina diperkirakan jatuh sampai 29%, diikuti oleh krone Denmark dan dolar Selandia Baru sekitar 6%. Sementara, yen dan euro akan tetap tergerus meski tidak sehebat tahun ini, yang diproyeksi menembus kisaran 3%.

"Percepatan proyeksi suku bunga the Fed dan perbaikan ekonomi domestik akan terus menggenjot greenback, khususnya terhadap yen dan euro," ungkap Analis Mata Uang JPMorgan Chase & Co. Kevin Hebner.

Presiden Joko Widodo memerintahkan pencarian besar-besaran terhadap pesawat serta seluruh penumpang dan awak pesawat Air Asia QZ8501, yang potongan badan pesawatnya telah di temukan di kawasan laut Jawa dekat Pangkalan Bun, Kalimantan Tengah, Selasa (30/12). Pengerahan seluruh kekuatan akan difokuskan pada area sekitar lokasi ditemukannya potongan badan pesawat serta jenasah yang diduga penumpang pesawat Air asia.

“Baik kapal maupun heli dari laut maupun udara akan dilakukan pencarian besar-besaran, dan saya sudah memerintahkan kepada Basarnas untuk melakukan operasi gabungan untuk mencari baik pesawatnya maupun penumpang dan seluruh awak pesawat. Dan saya sudah perintahkan untuk fokus terlebih dahulu dalam rangka evakuasi penumpang dan awak pesawat,” kata Presiden Joko Widodo.

Sebelumnya, laporan menyebutkan 40 jenasah telah ditemukan dalam pencarian pesawat tersebut, namun Kepala Badan SAR Nasional Jawa Timur baru mengonfirmasi 6 jenasah.

Kepala Badan SAR Nasional Jawa Timur, Hernanto mengatakan, hingga kini informasi yang dihimpun menyebutkan bahwa telah ditemukan 6 jenasah yang diduga merupakan penumpang pesawat Air Asia QZ8501 yang hilang kontak sejak hari Minggu (28/12) pagi, meski tidak menutup kemungkinan jumlah itu telah bertambah. Hernanto menegaskan, evakuasi jenasah penumpang yang ditemukan akan menjadi prioritas, untuk selanjutnya diterbangkan ke Surabaya untuk diindetifikasi. Dipilihnya Surabaya sebagai lokasi pemulangan jenasah para korban, karena sebagian besar penumpang berasal dari Surabaya.

“Untuk seluruh keluarga penumpang dan awak pesawat, sekali lagi saya turut merasakan kehilangan atas musibah ini dan kita semuanya berdoa agar seluruh keluarga diberikan ketabahan dan kekuatan dalam menghadapi musibah ini,” kata Presiden Joko Widodo.

Sejumlah Negara Kirim Bantuan untuk Temukan Pesawat AirAsia

AS, China dan negara-negara lain telah mengirimkan kapal-kapal SAR ke Laut Jawa untuk membantu Indonesia melakukan pencarian pesawat jet penumpang AirAsia yang jatuh sewaktu badai hari Minggu.

Petugas dari Angkatan Udara Singapura ikut ambil bagian dalam operasi pencarian pesawat AirAsia yang hilang (30/12/2014).

Para pekerja SAR telah mengangkat puluhan mayat dari laut yang tidak tenang hari Selasa, dan mengumpulkan puing-puing pesawat yang mengapung di permukaan laut. Kapal Angkatan Laut Amerika, USS Sampson, tiba di lokasi untuk membantu menemukan pesawat yang mengangkut 162 orang itu.
