A few days after Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas assured revive discussion, the President of China Xi Jinping urged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu quickly as possible to resume peace negotiations with the Palestinians.



A few days after Palestinian President Mahmud Abbas assured revive discussion, the President of China Xi Jinping urged Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu quickly as possible to resume peace negotiations with the Palestinians.

Xi's statement reflects China's desire to strengthen the role diplpmatiknya in the Middle East region. Monday, Xi put forward "proposals four chapters" China to Abbas, who visited Chia in the same week trip Netanyahu.

China steps taken concurrently with U.S. diplomatic efforts to restart peace talks that collapsed in 2010 because of Israel's actions continue to expand settlements.

Netanyahu - Israel's first important leader to visit China since former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert in 2007 - met with Xi Thursday.

"I expect both parties to conduct joint venture to undertake practical measures that gradually build mutual confidence to resume peace talks as soon as possible and achieve substantial progress," Xi said to Netanyahu
