Construction of Sunda Strait Bridge (JSS) is targeted to do in 2014, while the feasibilty study (FS) will be completed this year. However, there are still some problems which resulted in the project stalled.
"Our budget is limited. So we have to rely on the Public Private Partnership (PPP)," Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Hatta Rajasa, in event coordination meeting Sumatera Governor and Rakor MP3EI, at Hotel Novotel, Lampung, on Wednesday (20/03/2013 ).
He continued, the state budget the government is only able to cover the 10-14 percent of infrastructure development in Indonesia. However, he confirmed the development JSS does not stop. "JSS that we should get up and Keppresnya already there," he added.
According to Hatta, JSS will begin construction of the development in the surrounding area. "Make our governor gave special zone to develop. Least get progress in 2013," he said.
Hatta explained, JSS development will not use state funds. Because the funds are used for the development of eastern Indonesia. "So we engage our private and state-owned enterprises to build," he said
It's obvious that some problems will occur in constructing such a large bridge, such as budget, feasibility etc. But I think it will be a great construction and hope it will be completed successfully. Thanks for sharing this post.
