Halley's Comet may only be visible from Earth every 75-79 years. However, the comet's dust tail apparently can be seen from the Earth twice a year in the form of a meteor shower.

Dust is because the appearance of Halley's comet meteor shower Orionids and Eta Aquarids. Sunday (05/05/2013) is the peak of the meteor shower Eta Aquariids. Dozens of meteors as a result of the burning of comet dust when interacting with the Earth's atmosphere can be seen.

Amateur astronomers, Ma'rufin Sudibyo, on his Facebook page on Saturday (05/04/2013), said that about 55 meteors can be seen on the Sunday evening. The number of meteors in the meteor shower is actually varied between 45-85.

Eta Aquariids meteor shower can be seen tonight around 02:00 pm until the early hours before dawn. Peak of the meteor shower is actually a Monday (06/05/2013) at 08.00, but the Indonesian region can not observe the time because meteor light will be lost by sunlight.

Meteor shower that could be considered great because of the number of meteors seen this happen when Earth passes through the dust-rich region of the sky comet Halley. Dust will be attracted by the gravity of Earth, interacts with the atmosphere and burned up, so look radiant for the inhabitants of Earth.

Want to watch? Meteor shower can be seen without the tools. Simply find a place with a dark sky and field observation in order to get more leverage. Terms meteor shower can be seen together with other astronomical phenomena condition, no clouds and rain that block.

Then, when I can observe Halley's comet itself? Space.com site, Saturday (04/05/2013), stating, Halley's comet last visible from Earth in 1986. So, this comet will be visible from Earth in the year 2061. Hopefully life long enough to witness the once in a lifetime event.
