Merkel met the Ukrainian opposition leaders in Berlin


German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Monday met with two leaders of the Ukrainian opposition , as a sign of support , but it does not seem to provide concrete support for their application in the form of sanctions directly to President Viktor Yanukovich .
