Blocking websites 'jihad' trigger anger Indian internet user

The Indian government says the blocked sites are used to teach the idea of jihad

Indian government action to block more than 30 popular web sites, including Vimeo, sparked outrage Internet users in India.

Department of Telecommunications of India ordered the blocking of these sites to prevent publication of jihadist activity.

After public pressure, the four sites that Weebly, Vimeo, Daily Motion and Github reopened.

Officials said 26 other sites will be removed pemblokirannya if the site manager obey the laws of the state.
