Chinese authorities respond to violence with a massive
operation.
Police in Xinjiang province, China, shot dead six people
suspected to be detonated explosives, local media reported.
Local government internet sites, Tianshan Net, said the
incident occurred in the area of Shule, in the city of Kashgar.
Mentioned the resident reported a man carrying a
suspicious equipment and when police approached, the man attempted to attack
the police and triggering explosives, but was shot dead.
Five others were later also shot dead for trying to
detonate explosives, but this information could not be confirmed by independent
sources.
Xinjiang, which is predominantly Muslim Uighur people,
suffered a series of violence in recent months amid rising ethnic tensions
between Uighurs and Han people.
In September 2014, at least 50 people were killed in
violence in Xinjiang police described as a 'serious terrorist attack.'
Chinese security forces respond to a series of violent
acts that the raid on a large scale.
Hundreds of people were arrested and dozens have been
executed, although the exact information could not be confirmed independently
because the Xinjiang region are tightly controlled.
Beijing government accused Uighur separatist group-which
has the support of outside extremists that countries that are in the range of
