The General Hacking, Information Security of company
Increasingly Threatened
Peretasa against computer systems Sony and other major
American company raises questions about the security of corporate data and the
consumer.
In the recent past Christmas, Sony's PlayStation network
was subjected to hackers.
Sony has just been attacked by a massive data hacking one
month earlier, and hackers released a large amount of data the company to the
public.
Perpetrators of hacking is not happy with the Sony movie
"The Interview" which mocks North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
US officials believe North Korea was behind the hacking.
North Korea denies, and exclude others say there must be a private hackers
involved. Whoever did this, the data hacking it has created a crisis for Sony.
In September last, the Home Depot store network unveil a
five-month strike against the payment terminal that resulted in the theft of
data from hundreds of millions of consumers. Previous Hacking consumer
targeting Target store network.
Any breach of the computer network systems vary, but
analyst Hugh Thompson of the security company Blue Coat say the attacks were
targeted and highly persistent assailant, other than that hackers often
menyasarkan certain employees.
"Business IT systems browse the internet and social
networking, and finding out about their favorite restaurant, favorite sports
team them and then write emails that appear to be nothing, so people think, the
email came from a friend or co-worker," Thompson explained.
Recipients email lured to click on a link and
consequently terunduhlah virus. Security companies such as Blue Coat and
Cyphort cooperate with large companies to prevent and identify attacks in
cyberspace. But one of the founders Cyphort, Fengmin Gong said hackers are now
associated with a complex organization and they patiently wait for their
chance.
"They were able to have a lot of equipment devices.
Many of the techniques of attack and the solution was added to the package,
making it easy to download," he said.
He said the equipment is part of a large-scale industrial
equipment business.
PayPal works closely with a group of hackers, but it is
considered ethical, in order to identify deficiencies in the system, and the
end of last year, the company paid a $ 10,000 Egyptian engineer to identify
vulnerabilities in the system.
The experts say consumers can protect themselves by
updating security software, security passwords and keep personal data, but the
company still needs to multiply their efforts against the escalation of threats
from hackers-sophisticated hackers. (VOA)
