Local TV reported that Castro snared four counts of kidnapping and three counts of rape. Rape claims are not related to the presence of six-year-old boy who was found with the three women who disekapnya.
Police believe the three women were only allowed to leave the house only on two occasions, and then only to the garage. Thus Ed Tomba Ohio police chief told a news conference.
"They were always in the house. They do not believe ever leave the house for 10 years," said Tomba.
"They're not in the room. However, they know each other and know each other's existence," said Tomba.
However, Tomba did not respond to the news that the woman was pregnant and a few times their baby died.
Police also released the recording of the dramatic moment when the medical team arrived at the house where confinement after the women were released.
Two other brothers Ariel Castro, Pedro (54) and Onil (50), was also arrested at this time. However, they most likely will not be sentenced to the kidnapping-related charges.
"There is no evidence to make us believe that the two men were involved or knew the kidnapping," said Tomba.
"We have not found evidence linking them to the crime," he said.
The police are also reluctant to disclose the evidence found in the home confinement that although previous Ohio police chief Michael McGrath said police found the chain and rope in the house that may be used to bind the three kidnap victims.
Ariel Castro was arrested after Amanda Berry and six-year-old daughter, Gina DeJesus, and Michelle Knight was found at his home in Cleveland, Ohio.
Amanda, Gina, and Michelle barusia 16, 14, and 20 years while missing about a decade ago.
All three are found after Amanda who is now 27-year-old escaped and told the neighbors about the kidnapping.
