"Quarrying sector grew 3.10 percent and 3.05 percent over the construction of the same quarter of the previous year," said Head of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Bali, Gede Suarsa in Denpasar, on Saturday.

Bali in welcomes APEC has made various preparations such as building Ngurah Rai airport expansion and construction of highways over the waters (JDP), which is almost completed.

Gede Suarsa explained, Bali's economy during the quarter amounted to 6.71 percent I/2013 body, higher than the same quarter of previous year which recorded 6.09 percent.

Bali's economy grew 6.71 percent, the biggest contribution of the city of Denpasar and Badung regency 1.53 percent 1.62 percent.

It shows that Bali's economy is highly dependent on economic conditions in the district of Badung and Denpasar.
