Manchester United (MU) officially appointed Everton manager, David Moyes, as the new architect of the Red Devils next season replacing Sir Alex Ferguson, who decided to retire at the end of the season. Moyes signed the agreement with the duration of the contract for six years.



Manchester United (MU) officially appointed Everton manager, David Moyes, as the new architect of the Red Devils next season replacing Sir Alex Ferguson, who decided to retire at the end of the season. Moyes signed the agreement with the duration of the contract for six years.

"David Moyes will take over as coach of Manchester United's 2013-14 season," Chelsea said in a statement as reported by the official club website.

MU Moyes claimed the appointment was taken by the club after a recommendation from Ferguson. The Scot will begin her new job dealing with Robin van Persie and his friends on July 1, 2013.


David Moyes is almost certainly as a successor to Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United. Through his official website, Everton announced that Moyes will leave Goodison Park this season. The Toffes claimed that one reason for Moyes to leave Manchester United keen to coach next season.

Here's a bit of facts about the 50-year-old coach:

- Moyes began his career as a player at Celtic and end his career at Preston. In Preston, he had played alongside David Beckham between February and March in 1995.
