Iranian religious leaders forbid online chats between men and women who have no family ties .

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei issued a fatwa ban the site through the online chat .

Khamenei also said the online chat as immoral behavior .

The fatwa issued following a ban on the use WeChat , apps on smartphones to send messages .

Facebook and Twitter and other networks have been banned in Iran .

Khamenei asked about online chats between men and women and he replied dailymail quoted as saying : " Given the immoral behavior is often the case , then it is not allowed . "

On the other hand , although there is a ban , many officials of Tehran have either a Facebook or Twitter account .

One of them is President Hassan Rowhani which has 163 thousand followers on Twitter .

Many Iranians " outsmart " the ban by using proxy servers that can still access social networking .
