A Successful UXO Found Patrol Indobatt

A UXO ( unexploded Ordnance ) or unexploded bombs were found by the Task Force patrol team Indobatt ( Indonesian Battalion ) XXIII-H/UNIFIL Garuda Contingent (United Nations Interim Force In Lebanon ) roadside ko.36S Alman , South Lebanon , on Monday ( 01.27.2014 ) .

According to Charlie Company Commander Marine Captain Fernando S. Lumi , UXO discovery began when one Indobatt Task Force personnel patrol team led by Marine sergeant Siswantosekitar at 14.30 local time to see a foreign object such as shape yellow bombs lying not far from the roadside .

Siswanto Marine sergeant as squad commander ( Danru ) patrol immediately ordered the driver to stop his vehicle combat BTR , to then go down and observe the object .

Patrol team consisting of Sergeant Marines POND , Koptu Kelik , Kopda Witanto , Eri Kopda Wintolo immediately secured the area and report the discovery to the Mako Battalion Indobatt diUNP (United Nations Position) 7-1 , Adshit al Qusayr , South Lebanon .

Furthermore , Wadansatgas Indobatt Konga XXIII-H/UNIFIL Mayor Rony Inf Ade , Kasi MIO ( Military Information Officer ) Major January Risa and the Pacific Marine First Lt. Inf MIO Mukhlis Cahyo immediately drove to the scene and gather information about objects such as bombs .

After convincing the object is indeed a UXO , then step coordination with the eastern sector of the EOD ( Explosice Ordnance Disposal ) and the LAF ( Lebanese Armed Forces ) was taken to the next execution .

" Before UXO discovery is executed then the area should be kept 24 hours in order to maintain the safety factor , " said Mayor Ron Ade Inf . | EFA / MJF
