Allow Syrian Women , Children Out of Homs
The breakthrough was achieved after the second round of negotiations between UN mediator and representatives of the Syrian government and opposition groups on Sunday ( 26/1 ) .
UN mediator Lakhdar Brahimi said the peace talks in Geneva , the delegation of the Syrian government agreed to allow women and children to leave the besieged city of Homs .
Homs is one of the largest cities in Syria and has been showered with an attack by government forces to retake control of rebel forces .

Previous negotiations focusing on the release of thousands of prisoners - including women , children and the elderly - from Syrian prisons .
In a press conference Sunday , Lakhdar Brahimi said opposition groups had agreed to request the Syrian government delegation to provide a list of those detained armed rebel groups .
Lakhdar Brahimi said he will meet with both parties together on Monday . The idea of forming a transitional government may be presented at the meeting . | VOA / MJF
