The rupiah traded among banks in Jakarta on Friday morning moved lower by 19 points to Rp12.182 than before Rp12.163 per U.S. dollar .
Head of Research at Trust Securities , Reza Priyambada on Friday said that the trend rate of the rupiah is still affected by the weakening of regional currencies weakening some respond to disruption of business activities in China .
" Conditions that give you an idea increasingly slowing industrial activity in China which could impact on Indonesia as a partner , " he said .
Nevertheless , said Reza , on the other hand the weakening rupiah rate can be offset by expectations that the domestic economy is still quite favorable this year so that it can withstand a deeper correction .
Meanwhile , Bank Money Market Analyst , Ruly Wisnubroto Arya said the rupiah is still relatively stable , in the range of movement is still limited .
According to him , the current market participants are anticipating the results of the Fed meeting next week on January 28 to 29 and wait for the other U.S. economic data .
" It is estimated that the financial stimulus reduction ( tapering ) by the Fed is not overly aggressive on expectations that U.S. economic growth is not enough support , " he said .
