JCI Friday opened down 29.35 points


 JCI Friday opened down 29.35 points

Composite Stock Price Index ( CSPI ) in Indonesia Stock Exchange ( IDX ) on Friday opened down 29.35 points following correction of the stock exchange in Asia .

BEI index opened down 29.35 points, or 0.65 percent, to 4466.69 . While the index of 45 leading shares ( LQ45 ) fell 7.58 points ( 1.00 percent ) to a level of 753.06 .

Head of Research Valbury Asia Securities , Alfiansyah , Friday said that the increase in the index IDX retained along with the stock market correction in Asia after the U.S. and China manufacturing data that does not match expectations .

" Manufacturing China is likely to show a contraction for the first time in the last six months , U.S. manufacturing index , though still expanding , but declined from the previous month , " he said

However , he added , correction in the global index is temporary , to move back positive still open as expectations of better economic conditions of developed countries and the effect of growth for developing countries , including Indonesia .

Securities analyst Samuel , Yualdo Yudoprawiro add some sectors of the stock yesterday ( 23/1 ) significantly higher chance of experiencing profit-taking ( profit taking ) such as plantation stocks and banking .

Moreover , he added , correction in EIDO ( products in the U.S. stock market which includes Indonesian shares ) amounted to 1.9 per cent last night to add to the negative sentiment for Indonesian stocks .

Regional exchanges , including the Hang Seng index fell 119.50 points ( 0.53 percent) to 22614.40 , the Nikkei index fell 246.78 points ( 1.57 percent ) to a level of 15449.62 and Straits Times fell 13.51 points ( 0.43 percent ) to 3086.47 position .
