Movie theaters in Pakistan in grenade , four killed
At least four people were killed and 31 others injured late Sunday night when unidentified assailants threw two grenades into a movie theater in northwest Pakistan , police and medics said .
The attack on the Picture House cinema in Peshawar that occurred when about 90 people were watching the midnight film show " Ziddi Pakhtun " ( Stubborn Pashtun people ) , police said .
" At least four people were killed and 31 injured . Attackers threw two grenades and fled from the scene , " said Faisal Mukhtar , a senior police official , told AFP .
Many of the victims were injured due to overcrowding after the explosion , Mukhtar added .
Jamil Shah , a spokesman for Lady Reading Hospital Peshawar , said the three dead bodies and 31 injured victims had been taken to the hospital .
No group claimed responsibility for the attack , but police said the cinema halls in the city are already under threat .
Peshawar is a leading city of Pakistan in the fight against hard-line militants , who consider the film as a sin .
