 Six new cases of bird flu occurred in China

Chinese health authorities confirmed six new cases of H7N9 avian influenza strain that occurred in the four provinces .

Written statements received by Reuters in Beijing , Monday said six new cases of H7N9 avian influenza was found in Guangdong Province ( two cases ) , Zhejiang Province ( two cases ) , Fujian Province and Hunan Province each single case .

Two cases occurred in Guangdong Province override two boys , aged five and six years were infected on Saturday ( 1/2 ) . Local health authorities expressed both in a stable condition in hospital care .

While the two cases that occurred in Zhejiang happened to a 80-year -old farmer and 54-year -old worker . Both live in the capital city of Hangzhou and is now in critical condition .

Since January 1, 2014 , has recorded about 100 cases of H7N9 strain of bird flu , 20 of them fatal. Chinese health authorities have conducted various efforts to prevent the closure and destruction of poultry farms in several locations .

Local health authorities have also expressed " standby status " to the spread of the bird flu virus , given winter is very conducive to the spread of the virus and the high level of human migration that occurred during the celebration of the Chinese New Year .

According to data from the World Health Organization ( WHO ) , cases of H7N9 infection to humans has so far been reported in China , Hong Kong , and Taiwan .

The virus appeared in humans beginning in 2013 . To date has recorded more than 200 cases with more than 50 deaths .

According to WHO , the majority of infected people reported contact with live poultry , and so far no information about the support of human-to- human transmission .
