Europe's main stock markets mostly end higher


  Major stock markets of Europe largely closed higher on Thursday, with London's FTSE 100 index ended the day up 0.19 percent at 6788.49 points.

The CAC 40 in Paris gained 0.59 per cent to end at 4417.04 points but in Frankfurt the DAX 30 ended flat at 9542.87 points, AFP reported.
