Islamic economic system is able to contribute greatly to the stability of the overall Indonesian economy with the Islamic concept , said Chairman of the Board of the Financial Services Authority ( FSA ) D Hadad Hadad .
" The concept of the Islamic finance among antiriba (profit sharing ) and antijudi ( antispekulasi ) could contribute to the stability of the national economy , " Hadad said the Public Lecture New Graduate Student , University of Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. Hamka ( UHAMKA ) here on Saturday .
By sharing system people who do not have the capital will be permitted to dare to open a business , while the concept antispekulasi only encourage people to invest in the productive real sector .
"A crisis of a decade ago also showed durability Islamic banks are relatively high when interest rates reach very high levels where conventional banks experienced a negative spread , " he said .
According to Hadad , the growth of Islamic banks in the future will be more rapid in which currently has 35 banks offering Islamic banking services .
" The collection of Islamic banking deposits nationally has now also reached Rp68 trillion , savings and current accounts Rp37 trillion to Rp12 trillion , which proves the interest of the community of Muslims against Islamic banking , " Hadad said .
