JCI Thursday opened up 10.54 points
Composite Stock Price Index ( CSPI ) in Indonesia Stock Exchange ( IDX ) on Thursday opened higher by 10.54 points affected Asian stock markets .
BEI index opened up 10.54 points, or 0.22 percent, to 4694.92 . While the index of 45 leading shares ( LQ45 ) rose 2.73 points ( 0.35 percent ) to a level of 787.64 .
" Strengthening Asian stocks rose this morning which tends to be one factor for the index IDX positive sentiment , " said analyst Samuel Securities , Yualdo Yudoprawiro on Thursday .
On the other hand , he added , returning the appreciation of the rupiah against the U.S. dollar adds impetus for market participants to enter into the stock market .
" However , reinforcement tends to be limited in line with the market also are anticipating the release of interest from Bank Indonesia ( BI rate ) on Thursday , we expect to survive at 7.5 percent , " he said .
Meanwhile , Team Independent Technical Securities Analysts said that foreign investors look to accumulate profits already high following the BEI index increase , and the Ukraine situation is re-heated .
" BEI index will still move mixed with lower - level upper limit in the range of 4650-4760 points , " he said .
Regional exchanges , including the Hang Seng index rose 77.74 points ( 0.35 percent) to 21979.69 , the Nikkei rose 51.39 points ( 0.37 percent ) to a level of 14885.02 and Straits Times fell 4.51 points ( 0.15 percent ) to 3092.46 position .
