The rupiah traded at Jakarta interbank moved higher Friday morning 73 points to Rp11.359 per U.S. dollar .
Terhadapi dollar dollars earlier position was Rp11.432 per U.S. dollar .
Meanwhile, the Composite Stock Price Index ( CSPI ) in Indonesia Stock Exchange ( IDX ) on Friday opened up 12.56 points, or 0.27 percent, to 4700.41 .
While the index of 45 leading shares ( LQ45 ) rose 3.09 points ( 0.39 percent ) to a level of 791.6
The dollar weakened against the euro on Thursday (Friday morning GMT ) , ahead of the U.S. employment report for February and after a bright outlook for the euro zone economy from the European Central Bank ( ECB ) .
The euro traded at 1.3861 dollars at around 22:45 GMT ( Friday at 5:45 pm ) , up sharply from 1.3734 dollars late Wednesday . Earlier in the day the European common currency had reached 1.3873 dollars , its highest level since the end of December .
While the yen weakened against both currencies . The dollar rose to 103.08 yen from 102.28 yen , while the euro bought 142.88 yen compared with 140.47 yen the previous day .
Value Euro higher after the European Central Bank kept interest rates and ECB chief Mario Draghi seemed optimistic about growth in the 18 - nation eurozone .
ECB raises 2014 growth forecast by 0.1 percentage points to 1.2 percent .
The dollar is under pressure as investors braced for the monthly employment report hearing the U.S. Labor Department on Friday .
Analysts expect net employment increased to 163,000 in February after only 113,000 in January . While the unemployment rate is expected to hold steady at 6.6 percent .
Other reports mention the dollar fell to 0.8802 Swiss francs from 0.8873 francs on Wednesday afternoon . The pound rose to 1.6740 dollars from 1.6720 dollars .
