The rupiah traded among banks in Jakarta on Thursday morning moved up 22 points to Rp11.559 than before Rp11.581 per U.S. dollar .
" The rate of the exchange rate fueled bounce back again increased buying market participants against risk assets , including the rupiah , " said the Head of Research of the Trust Securities , Reza Priyambada on Thursday .
Occurrence of buying it , according to him , because market participants are utilizing assessment that geopolitical turmoil in Ukraine has subsided .
He added that the trend of dollars in the last few days are in areas that reflect the strengthening of investor confidence to some improvement in the economic fundamentals are being pursued by the government.
On the other hand , Reza said that the increase in dollars is also supported by the appreciation of the U.S. dollar after the release of Australian data , especially GDP increased .
Analyst PT Platon Niaga Futures , Lukman Leong said that the movement of the rupiah is still getting positive sentiment from the low inflation rate in February to build confidence in the domestic market .
" However, external sentiment remains should be observed , estimated risk of currency movements including the rupiah is still consolidating , " he said .
