Russia threatened to reduce its economic dependence on the United States to the level of zero if Washington agreed to impose sanctions with regard to Ukraine Moscow, Kremlin economic adviser Sergei Glazyev.
Glazyev warned that America's financial system would be threatened with collapse (crash) if the sanctions take place.
"We will look for ways to not only reduce our dependence on the United States to (rate) rose from zero but also the sanctions to make the most large amount of them for our own benefit," said Sergei Glazyev.
Glazyev also threatened that Russia could stop the use of the U.S. dollar in international transactions.
"An attempt to announcing sanctions will end in the collapse of the U.S. financial system that could lead to the end of U.S. dominance in the global financial system," he added, as quoted by AFP.
