Rebuttal Russian President Vladimir Putin that the army does not operate on the Crimean Peninsula , Ukraine , making Western leaders , including U.S. President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry , shaking his head and flashed a satire .
Even in the middle of the simmering crisis in Ukraine and meradangnya West and the U.S. in this matter , even Russia reported that they successfully tested a new intercontinental missile .
In a press conference in Moscow yesterday , Putin declared that his country has the right to use all available means to protect Russian citizens in Ukraine . " This is the last way , " he continued .
In response, the new government of Ukraine that thousands of Russian troops flooded the Crimea in recent days , Putin said that it is a local self-defense forces who surrounded the Ukrainian military bases in the Crimea .
When asked if Russia took part in operations in the Crimea , Putin casually replied , "No , they ( the Russians ) did not participate " . He added , " Many of the uniform ( soldiers ) that seems similar ( to each other ) . "
Kerry , who was visiting Kiev astonished with Putin 's answer . He then warned that if Russia does not reduce tension in Ukraine then the country will face further international action in the form of insulation political , diplomatic and economic .
French President , Francois Hollande , also warned Russia may face a risk if the escalation of conflict moves toward harm .
Faced with the threat of the West , behind Putin threatened that any sanctions against Russia would lead to " loss on both sides " .
"Of course, at some level we can destroy each other , but this destruction will take place and the reciprocal of this is that should they ( the West ) think , " Putin said as quoted by ITAR- TASS .
Putin also said it was very easy to destroy the relations of Russia and the U.S. , but it will be very difficult to rebuild it .
Putin said, " Russia was full of patience and is ready to cooperate even in conditions of very complicated relationship with Kiev " .
At the press conference Putin also raised claims about the surprise developments in Ukraine , including Crimea before the crisis becomes protracted .
" If the decision to use military force in Ukraine is taken , then it is legitimate , " said Putin . " Russia's national interests are at stake , and it ( the deployment of military force ) would be an act of humanity , " he continued .
Putin also commented on the overthrow of President Viktor Yanukovych by a series of demonstrations ahead of his downfall .
He said that Ukrainian protesters have been trained by specialists and they are even less well trained tidah of riot police .
He said the Western instructors may be involved in the coup in Ukraine . "Anyone can win the election in Ukraine , it is difficult to predict , " said Putin denies Western claims that there has been a fraudulent election in Ukraine .
Putin said Russia has never recognized the legitimacy of government that ousted Yanukovych , otherwise mocked West for advocating an illegitimate regime .
" What's the motive that we partners ? They ( west ) supported the coup unauthorized state . We still try to work with the new government ( Ukraine ) , although we do not acknowledge them , " Putin said as quoted by the Russian news agency Itar - Tass .
