Ukrainian government declared that Malaysia Airlines passenger plane shot down in eastern, regions are being pro-Russian rebel base.
President of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, said the plane crashed due to "acts of terrorism".
"We would like to emphasize that this is not an accident or disaster. This is terrorism," the president said Poroschenko.
Ukrainian officials say 295 people on the plane were killed.
Included among the 154 passengers were Dutch citizens and Earn 11 Indonesian citizens.
Prime Minister of Malaysia, Najib Razak, said it had received notification about Malaysia Airlines plane shooting.
"The Ukrainian authorities believe that this plane was shot down. At this stage Malaysia has not been able to confirm the cause of this tragedy," said Prime Minister Razak in Kuala Lumpur, Friday morning (18/07).
'Exposed missiles'
"But we'll find out what happened to this flight. Investigation will be thorough. When the plane was shot down, we demand that the perpetrators be brought to justice," he said.
A United States intelligence sources in Washington told the Associated Press that the Malaysian passenger plane believed crashed due to surface-to-air missiles.
He said the American government is still gathering information, but most likely this aircraft missile exposed.
The claim that the plane was shot down has been denied by the rebels in eastern Ukraine.
