US warship USS Sampson Discover Six bodies of victims of
Air Asia
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BUN BASE - US warships USS Sampson who
participated in the search for victims of the crash of Air Asia QZ8501 found
six bodies floating in the waters of Pangkalan Bun, in the vicinity of the
contact lost last Sunday.
Director operesional SAR Pangkalan Bun Supriyadi
revealed, six bodies will be flown to the main post on the airfield Iskandar
Pangkalan Bun, Friday (2/1) afternoon at 11.00. "The six reinforce the
approximate location of the aircraft body," he explained.
Until now, the bodies of the victims were found in total
of 16 people. With details, eight bodies have been flown to Surabaya, two
bodies still lie in hospitals Imanuddin Pangkalan Bun, and the other six were
still in the USS Sampson and ready to be flown to the air base Iskandar.
