Head of Communication and Information Tourism Transportation North Lombok, Tanjung Wugiarno Rays, Thursday (27/12/2012), said that all hotel rooms in Gili Trawangan has been fully booked since December 20, 2012.

"The occupancy rate of hotel rooms outside of Gili Trawangan reach 90 to 95 percent and is expected to be complete by the time of the celebration of the new year 2013," he said.

Ray said, a number of hotels in Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno and Gili Air held a variety of events to mark the turn of events in 2012 to 2013 that included the traditional arts staged Lombok.

North Lombok regency government also organized the annual tourism destination promotion, "Gili Begawe" or "Gili Fiesta" in Gili Trawangan, Gili Meno and Gili Air. At this year's event focused on Gili Trawangan, once in the years before it was held at Gili Meno and Gili Air.
