Denmark legendary players, Peter Hoeg Gade, closing his career as a player by beating Chinese player Lin Dan.

In a farewell match at Falconer Salen, Copenhagen, Gade beat winning two Olympic gold medals in the rubber game 20-22, 21-16, and 21-14.

Gade (36) once ranked as one of the world between 1998 and 2001 and 2006. He was the 1999 All England champion, five-time European champion, and won 22 Grand Prix tournament champion.
