The Australian Government is committed to continue efforts against whaling by Japan
The Australian Government is committed to continue efforts against whaling by Japan in the country's current fleet begin its annual hunt in the Antarctic region.
"The Australian government condemned all commercial whaling, including so-called scientific whaling for the purpose," said Australian Environment Minister Tony Burke. "Especially because the Japanese whaling will be done in the area of protection of whales in the Southern Ocean Whale made by the International Commission," added Burke as Australia's media reported on Saturday (29/12/2012).
Australia determined to keep trying to stop commercial whaling permanently.
