Chairman of the National Committee of the Indonesian Textile Association (API) Ade Sudradjat said the national textile prices would rise 15 per cent due to increases in electricity rates.

"The increase in electricity rates (TDL) will cause a snowball effect for the textile industry by 15 percent," Ade said on Friday.

He said that the price increase will increase 5 percent because of higher minimum wage in 2013. Because it increases the domestic textile prices in 2013 according to her will by 20 percent.
