Planned giant transport planes landed at Sultan Hasanuddin Makassar air base at around 22:15 pm, Friday (22/2).

"Transport aircraft AN-124-100 Flight Number VDA 6132 flown by Vladimir Gorbunov, departing from the airport Dzemgi Russia, Wednesday (21/2) at 00:30 UTC by Nonoy Aquino Manila airport route directly to the Sultan Hasanuddin air base in Makassar," said Head of Information First Marshal of the Air Force Azman Yunus, Friday (22/2).

Second Sukhoi SU-30 MK2 will add strength Squadron 11th Air Wing 5 Sultan Hasanuddin Makassar air base. Two hunters fighter joined the SU-27 and SU-30 SKM previous MK2.

"The Air Force currently has ten units manufactured Sukhoi KNAPO (Komsomolsk-na Amure Aircraft Production Association)," said Azman.

The Air Force received Sukhoi gradually from 2003, then in 2009 and 2010, at the Sultan Hasanuddin Makassar air base.
