Candidates for governor and lieutenant governor of West Java 2013-2018 period, Rieke Diah Pitaloka-Teten Masduki, launched the card "Jabar Rising" to commemorate the construction of West Java. Rieke said, the card can be used for health and education services for the poor in West Java.
"The point is, no more poor people who can not get home, no poor people who rejected the hospital," said Rieke at a presidential debate at Metro TV, Jakarta, Friday (02/08/2013) night.
According to him, the survey of residents can afford and can not afford in West Java must be done accurately. This is necessary so as not to mistake giving the card, in which citizens are able actually get the card, while residents can not afford not to get it. Rieke said the card also needs to be accompanied by the identification number so as not to be confused and misused by others.
The same card also applies to educational empowerment. Rieke hope, with the card, no more students drop out of school because of poverty trapped. The students are also equipped with the skills and channeled into industries that require workers in West Java.
Rieke said the budget for education and health care facilities that will use local funds and state budget because nothing is free in government programs. "The budget from where? Nothing is free in government programs. Fund will be financed by the budget and the state budget. Restore the people's money to the people as well, there should be no corruption, it must be the way," he said.
