Indonesia has a great opportunity to fill the needs of Nigerian palm oil market. African country with a population of 167 million people newly produced approximately 400,000 tonnes of crude palm oil (crude palm oil / CPO) of the needs of two million tonnes per year.

Derom recently returned following the working visit of President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Trade Minister Gita Wirjawan to Nigeria.
Derom utilize the visit to meet a number of businessmen and researchers in Nigeria and Ivory Coast. From the meeting, he got the information needs of the Nigerian market.

On that occasion, Derom also met with the Director of the Initiative for Public Policy Studies (IPPA) Nigeria, Thompson Ayodele; Chairman of the Inter-Professional Association of Oil Palm Industry (AIPH), Kamara Logossina, and Secretary of AIPH, Abdoulaye Berete. They garner positive campaign initiative global palm.
"If there is oil antiminyak campaign, we will negotiate step what to do. Did campaign or legal action., As did Thompson in Paris, France," said Derom.
