Air Asia Indonesia launched a new international and domestic routes of the two major cities, namely Semarang (Central Java) and Makassar (South Sulawesi).

Air Asia Indonesia launched a new international and domestic routes of the two major cities, namely Semarang (Central Java) and Makassar (South Sulawesi). These routes are Semarang - Singapore, Makassar - Kota Kinabalu (Malaysia), Makassar - Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Makassar - Surabaya (East Java), Makassar - Bali and Makassar - Manado (North Sulawesi).

The route Semarang - Singapore will fly premiered on February 7, 2013. As for the new routes will fly from Makassar premiered on March 1, 2013.

"We are pleased to now be connecting Semarang to Singapore and expanding its route network in eastern Indonesia. Customers in Semarang Makassar also now be able to fly to neighboring countries and other major cities in Indonesia," said President Director of Air Asia Indonesia, Dharmadi, Thursday (17/01/2013) in Jakarta.

Flight service on international routes to Singapore is Indonesia Air Asia's first airline code Semarang with QZ. Previously, AirAsia Indonesia has linked the capital city of Central Java Province with the Jakarta and Surabaya.

As for Makassar, Indonesia Air Asia finally meet the demand of the people there, which opens up a route flight to Kota Kinabalu and Kuala Lumpur, as well as expanding its domestic route network.

With the opening of a route to Bali, Manado, and Surabaya, Makassar communities also will have more choice tourist destination in the country. They now can easily fly to the island, enjoying the beauty of the underwater scenery on the island of Bunaken (North Sulawesi), or simply waiting for the beautiful sunrise at Mount Bromo.
