PLTP Unit 5 Kamojang-run Pertamina Geothermal Energy is a development of 4 units of existing geothermal power plants with an installed capacity of 200 MW currently. The plant could begin operating by the end of 2014 and increase the installed capacity of 30 MW.

Location PLTP Unit 5 Kamojang location adjacent to Unit 4 Kamojang PLTP in land area 3.85 acres, located 42 kilometers south-east of the city of Bandung or 23 kilometers Northwest of town Garut. Generating Kamojang first began operations in 1982 with a capacity of 30 MW.

Meanwhile, Pertamina Geothermal Energy is also continuing development of geothermal field geothermal working area Lahendong, North Sulawesi. The development is to supply steam to PLTP Lahendong Unit 4 operated by PT PLN (Persero) with installed capacity of 20 MW.
