Former Malaysian deputy prime minister Anwar Ibrahim said it was confident that the sentiment Indonesia-Malaysia relations would improve.



"I believe and God willing, the problem can be resolved. Was no way to finish all of it directly, but we can lower the tension between the two countries to be a true friend," said Anwar after Chief Editor Discussion Forum here on Thursday.

According to Anwar, a sentiment that occurred not on the difference in clumps nation, but a misunderstanding in response to a dispute that could have been discussed as well.

He hoped the people of Indonesia can not help myself not to burn the flag of Malaysia in response to minor disputes going on between the two countries.

"If the citizens of Indonesia to burn the flag, then it will hurt a number of people of Malaysia that does not support the stance taken by the government," said Anwar.

He expects the people of Indonesia to convey a sense of disappointment by sending a protest note is legal or diplomatic efforts.

"So I hope there is a better approach to resist. Sometimes I'm too upset about something, but do not burn the flag," said Anwar.

On that occasion, Anwar also said it intends to improve the delivery system of Indonesian Workers who have often problematic.

"There are more important things. Problems workers who become an issue with. I refuse humiliation, rape and flogging them because it violates the principle of humanity. There should be no child Malay, Indonesia, China, India can be treated like that," said Anwar.
