Rajawali Nusantara Indonesia (RNI) is optimistic that all sugar mills (PG), which manages always profitable or no longer bear the loss as before.
"All the PG-run PT RNI year profit incised. All employees get production services. Nothing else is not making a profit," said President Director of PT RNI Ismed Hasan Putro in Semarang, on Saturday.
It is said on the sidelines Ismed Innovation Festival RNI and RNI awarding Award 2013 in one of the subsidiary PT RNI engaged in pharmaceutical, PT Phapros, Semarang.
He acknowledged there were five PG in West Java which is managed by PT RNI bear the loss in 2011. In fact, there is a status under the supervision of the Presidential Working Unit for Supervision and Control (UKP4).
"Not just a loss, but in UKP4 supervision because corporate governance is not good. Alhamdulillah, UKP4 supervision status has now been revoked and was able to make a profit in 2012," he said.
In fact, he said the gross profit is printed PT RNI during 2012 reached Rp450 billion, while net income of around Rp322 billion. In fact, the previous year to bear a loss of about Rp68 billion.
Therefore, the state-owned enterprises (SOEs) which is famous for its sugar business that will enhance the performance and governance of PG in its possession, including covering plant cleanliness and discipline employees.
"Cleanliness is an absolute must plant fulfilled. Because PG is open to the future, in the sense of the people or consumers who want to check the cleanliness and hygiene of sugar produced," he said.
To encourage its management PG hygiene, PT RNI will hold a competition that followed the cleanest PG 10 PG under management, the East Java (5 pg), Yogyakarta (1 PG), and West Java (5 pg).
Besides, now that he no longer sells sugar products, the "Sugar King" in the form of bales (approximately 181.44 kilograms) to large distributors, but sold as a kilogram.
He said PT RNI sugar production in 2012 reached about 168 thousand tons, while in 2013 is targeted to reach 170 thousand tons to be sold in kilogram to meet community needs.
"We sell 'Sugar King' in the form of a direct retail kilogram or distributed to the public, one of them through outlets Eagles Mart we'll open in various cities in Indonesia," said Ismed.
