Susilo Siswoutomo appointed by President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono as the Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources. This is to fill the vacancy left by Rudi Rubiandini it.


According to Susilo, Friday (01/11/2013) when met at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Jakarta, it has received directives from President Yudhoyono related to the position of Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources and the tasks to be carried.

Susilo fill the position of Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources formerly held Rudi Rubiandini. Rudi President Yudhoyono appointed as Head of Unit The Upstream Oil and Gas.

Susilo previously served as a Special Staff of the Minister. He doubles as the Head of Supervisory and Control Project Masela.

"I was appointed as a special staff Minister, as the Minister is a friend of mine, we were fellow graduates of the S-2 class 190 Bandung Institute of Technology, Mechanical Engineering fellow," said Susilo.

Susilo working on foreign oil and gas companies, MobilOil, until retirement. After retiring from Exxon Mobil Oil, Susilo become an expert advisor Deputy Head of the Executive Agency for Upstream Oil and Gas Abdul Muin in 2006.

Then when Wacik was appointed Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, he was recruited as a special staff of the Minister.

Susilo explained, as Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, he served facilitate the implementation of government programs in the ESDM sector. Some programs, among other things, conversion of fossil fuels into the fuel gas, the sales contract renegotiation Tangguh liquefied natural gas to Fujian, China, and encourage the development of renewable energy.
