"Judging from the nationality, national tourists Singapore is still the most visited Riau Islands province (Riau Islands). Number of tourists from Singapore who visited the region in November 2012 reached 51.63 percent," said the head of the Central Bureau of Statistics Kepri, Badr, in Tanjungpinang Thursday.

Badr argues, national tourists visiting Singapore to Riau Islands is currently experiencing a decline of 0.68 percent compared to the state in October 2012. But the Singapore national ratings are rated highest for visiting Riau Islands.

"Total foreign tourists (tourists) who visited the region at that time reached 143,858 people, down by 1.76 percent compared to the number of tourists in the previous month to reach as many as 146,433 people," he said.

While tourists from Malaysia during November 2012 reached 23 178 people, up 14.99 per cent and is the second-largest number of tourists during November 2012. Contributions tourists from Malaysia reached 16.11 percent of the total foreign tourists visiting Riau Islands.
