"For this power addiction, governor, regent or mayor who has served two terms still wants to run again in the next period. Fact, his provisions are only two periods," said Mahfud MD after giving a guest lecture at the close of "Student Day" at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM), Saturday.

Because it is still addicted to power, he said, many local leaders who eventually nominate his wife, his children or other relatives to perpetuate dynastic rule.

Therefore, he added, many regional heads filed to the Constitutional Court (MK) related rules as head of the region bounded only two periods.
